What settings have some of you found that come close to these artists sound, or just some of your favorite settings?

Hendrix
EVH
Early ZZ Top
Page
AC/DC

I have been fiddling with this head for a while now. I get some great tone out of it, but can't really seem to find a home that I keep going back to. I would like to get some ideas that hit in different areas of the tonal spectrum of the amp and then fine tune them to my liking.

Thanks

Try this! Turn both volumes to 12 o'clock. Try plugging into the high treble channel. Turn all other controls to "0". Play for a while and get used to the tone. You can really crank the bridge pup. Now, bring up the middle control to taste, then mess with the presence. Last but not least the treble and bass. I used to play lots of places with everything off but the middle control and it sounded so good. Small rooms I'd leave the cover on the old 4X12 with a hole cut out for one speaker. the good old days...

Oh, by the way I guess I just assumed that bridging the channels from the low input of channel 1 into the high input of channel 2 was an automatic thing and have been mainly running it that way. and then plugging into either the low input of channel 2 or high input of channel 1.

Pin the f*cker. Jump the channels, pin the presence, mid, and vol1, put vol2 on about 2, the bass on 1, the treble around 6, and play. YOU tell ME what you get.

I recently discovered this setting: presence - 1, bass - 1/2, middle - 3, treble - 1, both volumes on 7, channels jumped. See how you like it.
