A simple glance at Willies site suggest it is a late 60 tomato soup Burst perhaps in the range of 0-7000s 0-8000s. You can see reflector knobs and a bright red color. :salude

You got to love when uncirculated stuff shows up. It's still out there. Believe me!

That's the third uncirculated (i.e. unknown) 'burst I've seen this week. Two '59's and a '60.

LOL!

Gives me an excuse to swing in there. I don't go there much any more, I don't feel like paying 2020 prices today.

If anyone gets the scoop on this burst , please let me know . Also, if there's a local story, photographs and serial number, I would be very interested in knowing about this uncirculated burst . There might be a BURST BELIEVERS IV and the story of this particular burst would be a great addition. If anyone can offer any help, I would really appreciate it. My email address is guitarg@verizon.net or contact the shop at 724 746 9686...Thank you

In hand yesterday. Looked really clean. Not a soupy as the pict might indicate. Groovered and one slight latch bite, other than that, looked straight. I am not a burst expert by any stretch. :jim

They are sill out there for sure!:dude: Vic, I passed your request on to Nate. Call me if you wan to know more.:jim

where are the binding nubs on the end of the frets?

I am with you. there are some questions about that aspect. There is an irregularity from fret to fret as to how much nub is there. Note that there is virtually no nub on the last fret??? ..and there is a color difference in the binding. AT the least, the frets have been dresses and the ends beveled. Some yellowed lacquer has been filed away from the binding, imho.
Not that it matters....but who changes the tuning machines on an ungigged guitar?
Beautiful guitar...from what we see...
