• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

As a lefty and as a vintage guitar player/collector, I have always looked for the next unicorn.

I think I found one yesterday when I bought this crazy 1974 Fender Stratocaster in what looks like a factory finish (perhaps for a trade show).

The interesting part is that it comes with black bottom pre cbs strat pickups and what looks like untouched soldering.

I got this guitar from a dealer who got it from a memorabilia auction in the UK.

Now I am dreaming of finding a picture of the guitar back in the days.

Yowza. What a find! Looks to be metallic colors as well. How very cool.

Fingerboard looks very good with reddish accents.

Personally, I dig the 'TORRES' '17' stamps. Maybe a nickname for this one emerges...?

Congrats, fellow southpaw. Enjoy in good health!
