• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

IMO OP has another account and this is a Troll He - She hasn't logged in since 29th , He or she is watching as a guest or a account they already have .

I read the OP #1 it just seams like a scripted tease .
Thank goodness, someone talking commonsense at last

Something to consider extremely carefully ..... this thread has been viewed over 8000 times and in the event the Burst is real will break a million views ............ easy

it may end up being THE classic thread in LPF history

put THAT in your pipe .... and smoke it
Thanks for that. I have considered your post extremely carefully, and ...... I haven't got a clue what point your making. But thanks anyway.

John Bonamassa once That would be incredible once the instrument is verified....and proven. i would love to work out out a trade on a 1964 olympic white Stratocaster that hasn't been beat to hell. Sorry, relicked.

Sounds like Joe's brother John is going to have nice Burst fall in his lap for 65 Strat I sincerely hope Joe & John's relationship is rock solid . A deal like this could be the start of a advantageous relationship .

Except he doesn't have any brothers.

Yep, just more bait he was chumming the waters !
My mistake...
I saw the thread on the day it posted when there were no replies and smelled a rat...
Have dipped in occasionally, but not read every comment until today...
His Bonamassa reference could be an entirely innocent typo, but I suspect it was him dropping a hint that 'we' were being had.

It's obviously bogus.
If the guy knows enough to know it's "unplayable", he would have known decades ago exactly what 'Dad's Les Paul' was - if you're the guitar playing son of a guitar player (like I am) you know your father's gear better than he does. Only a guitarist knows if a guitar is 'playable' or not.

So, near mint, packed away for almost 60yrs in the case, in a bag, and it is LEMON DROP!!!!!! In what friggin' world???? What a tale, it sure smells of cheese. Almost $400 in 1964????? I DOAN THINK SOOO.

the sad part of the whole thing is that eventually the thread will die out on its own and it was a great thread from the perspective of entertainment

It's really great to see that so many are coming to the conclusion that the OP was making this story up.
What is disappointing is the fact that so many actually believed the shite that this guy spewed in his original post and fell for it.
