I was able to get on burstserial.com earlier this morning and confirmed that 9 1998 was there and matched the instrument at Gruhns, but now I can't access the site.

I typed “burstserial” into the Safari search window, and it was the first thing that came up. Clicked on it, and it seemed to work fine.

For feck sake, you guys just don't get it. The post is fiction, he didn't find a burst it's a made up thread.
You are fantasing over a guitar that doesn't exist.
That was clear pretty much from the beginning. What concerns me more is what kind of a$$hole you gotta be to start a thread like that. Living in momma's basement maybe...

Beautiful guitar! I would think that this one is well known in the 'Burst community, so the attic story would not apply to this guitar

9 1998 is also featured in Burst Believers Vol I

My grandpappy worked the line at Checker Cab. He retired to a farm west of town, toward Lake Michigan.

Corn was the crop of choice then, but subsidies didn't cut it for us, so the family converted our crop to lavender, harvested for essential oils and such. We kept a field for corn, for feed, and the silos were topped off every season, so no worries.

We were already experiencing tough times; the lavender market being undercut by Xinjiang, where the China took Uyghur farmland and transformed the region into a agricultural destination, replete with an international lavender tourism festival.

Then Covid hit. Times grew tough. We were scrapping not only the bottom of our funds, but the bottom of our feed silos, to keep the animals healthy.

That's when we found the them, swathed in layers of burlap perched on the grates above us which guide grain to the augurs....

Now, we knew grandpappy had friends from Parsons Street, as they all hung out at Lodge 22. But he never spoke of his secret passion which we discovered upon unwrapping the burlap.

Luckily he was a southpaw like me! So his custom order can be kept and treasured. Never for sale, even if we lose the farm.

So... can someone please direct me to who can authenticate and appraise my recently discovered matched set of Lefty Korina Futura and Moderne?
