• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Pow!

What a line up!

Interesting that the 61 has the double traps at the first fret.
Is the three way switch tip missing?
What color is the chicken head? Just a reflection?

cool

I'm assuming all four of those beautiful Vintage guitars still have the Veritone still fully operational - just so much vibe with a functional Veritoine Circuit !

That's in great condition!
How does it sound?
Does it have a wide or narrow nut? - With that in mind, how does it play?
Well, thank you! I'd say it's excellent plus, it still does look great apart from the gold tarnishing. Wide nut, 17 degree headstock angle. Plays great too, also since I had the frets recrowned. A fun guitar.

I got it from Gregor Hilden, the video is still up:

The gold tarnishing is part of the look!
Curiously, when I obtained my 1959, the covers were off - but in the case. I put them back on right away and I haven't had any concerns about tone or squeal.
What's the story with your pickup covers? They're off in the video but on in your picture.

Wait, the video just ended and another 1965 ES345 video by GregsGuitars has appeared - this time with the covers on.
Huh...whaddayaknow. I think my question has been answered more or less!
