Wow, I did not know that LP Customs came in black cases!

Does any one know the difference between these and the 68 LP Cases?

Great Job Mike!

Does anyone have a picture of a case for a Les Paul Custom made between 70 and 72?

Thanks Mike for the great pics.........now they are there for all to see.
Those Cali girl cases stick out from the rest don't they.........looks like a Viola/Cello shape.....most distinctive.Won't see any of these here in NZ.

Guys, will an LP with ABR-1 lie down nicely in a 53/54 5-latch Lifton?

Does anyone know if it was only the Cali-Girl cases which had the Lifton badge on the case pocket...? ...Or were they originally on all Lifton cases, but either the badges got raided or fell off during their lifetime?

Thanks for any info - very keen to know.

Other shapes got the badge, but apparently not every Lifton got a badge.
