I had a 1999 Les Paul Classic with the Serial# 9 0404, it was a Honeyburst. I put Classic '57's in it and changed the truss rod cover to a "Standard" cover and replaced the pick guard with a new Creme one to preserve the "1960" one that came with it. I still have the pick guard and the truss rod "Classic" cover. I also put Chrome Kluson tuners on it. It was the best Les Paul that I ever owned. Sadly I had to sell it along with my studio. I would give anything to find it again. Please contact me if you have any information or own this guitar and would like to buy or trade for it. I sold the guitar to Groove City in St. Paul, MN in 2015. I have pictures of it but I am not sure as to how to put the file into this post as I can't link to my hard drive.
