• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

What are top 5 most expensive Historics on the secondary market ?

so in other words if put on reverb or ebay which handful of limited models would fetch top $$$$$$$$$$

if you dont know for sure but care to speculate - go for it

also if you only know of one or two - not 5 - feel free to chime in

lets exclude "one of a kind " commissioned pieces

ok, I'll play

1. Brazilian rosewood fret board historics

2. Any Artists played historics

3. Older Murphy Aged historics

4. Artists historics

5. and then your general of the mill historics

i don't know enough to do a breakdown of each category but this seems like a good start

anyway ...

Wow! That is beautiful.

But now....

Ask me why I get the feeling (AND I KNOW IT IS STUPID, BUT SO AM I SO I WILL SAY IT) it is probably dead tone-wise?

Huh?

Yeah, what a stoopid comment, but I just get that feeling.

Why?
Cause it’s missing the pick guard

you are wrong - never owned one but played one at the legendary Center City Music in San Diego

this was in 2003 and Saul had a few on the wall - expensive - even back then

you have to be a " Billy Bad Ass " on guitar to play one without looking ridiculous
