I get felt with adhesive backing and wrap all my hangers. No marks in over 20 years of hanging guitars.
Hi,I never had issues with Hercules… had a LP on a Hercules wall hanger for years and it did not get any marks or damage. Then again I live in Sweden where humidity / temperature are not an issue indoors…
In any case I now use the cotton cover trick (cut from gloves fingers which makes it super easy).
Sorry to hear your LP got damaged mate, I love my LPs and even if I actually love aged instruments it still would hurt somehow.Hi,
The cotton cover trick you have is a good idea. The Hercules Stands are incredibly well made, I do believe the humidity was the main culprit. Not bad, it softened and a bit of clouding the finish at the headstock where it hangs. Nitro fell off one side( at the damaged spot) but the paint remained. The Konig&Meyer has a cork based covering at the contact points.
Your stands are very nice (as your instruments are ) . My compliments !I use Zinther stands which you can buy at Sweetwater, Amazon and Chicago Music Exchange.
Never had a problem, they have the String Swings on them.

A rather nice and diverse collection I must sayNot to mention his amps...
although Mr. Payroll does not approve of his choice in Tweeds.
It doesn't appear that you are in danger of the drummer tripping over your cord or knocking the guitar over while climbing out from behind his kit.I use Zinther stands which you can buy at Sweetwater, Amazon and Chicago Music Exchange.

I understand that.the OP was referring to a nitro reaction
Hi,The german K + M Brand is what I use, the translucent silicon covered stands are safe for nitro.
