• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Another angle that brings out the flecks:

I love that guitar. I'm glad you took a new picture for us to drool over. Now Mr. Daughtry needs to post Savannah. My 07 lemonburst below has a few flecks as:

Yep. It's an 04 faded tobacco Custom Authentic R9...I really fell out when I first saw this one. I love the color and somethin about the top figuring just says "old" to me... I have never seen a guitar with a more unique mineral streak figure than the heart that this one has by the volume knobs.

+1 that looks like an old guitar!

Scarface has to be one of the best looking Historics ever!

I wanted more, but sometimes you just have to take what they give you.

Dan, that's a beauty! :wow

Is that the one you refinished yourself? Fantastic job, if it is!

Frank

Thanks Frank! Yes I did the top refin a few weeks ago, but am going to wait for warmer weather to do the back and neck. There was some real nice wood under all that paint that the factory put on. Just like lifting a mask.
