• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Who’s got (and kept) COVID hair?

Me, I grew my 70s style mane longer and kept it.

Anyone else letting their freak flag fly?

To be honest, I've been using it as an excuse...
Ordinarily, I take a Number 1 across my head, ooer, the 21st Century comb over.
My mum was spent a few months in hospital from September 2019, so I spent the time trying to keep my dad sane...Couple of weeks after she came home, we were locked down...
So, here we are 18 months later, and whilst I like to think it's a bit 'Billy Connelly' it's more like Bill Bailey - another great, Britsh comedian, often described as 'that bald bloke with long hair'.

My CFO tried to cut my hair back in September because it was scruffy looking. She screwed it up so I told her to just shave my head. I’ve been shaving it ever since.

I haven't shaved my back since last year.

My wife likes to braid it.

So yes, I guess women like guys with hair...

Was in Arkansass (sp? intentional?) looking for Ivory Billed Woodpeckers for lunch and running around shirtless and they started reporting Sasquatches (Sasquatchi?).

Having my wife apply the #4 buzz-cut has been one of the most pleasant aspects of this unpleasant time.

Nothing says, "I trust you and love you" quite like, 'Hey, you have to look at it and I don't!'

Agreed. But I was having the wife cut my hair long before Covid. Nature has made it a pretty simple job for her!

I usually get a haircut every 3 months or so. Early onin "all this", I went like 6 months. I was planning on getting one in |March, but everything shut down that week...
|I was having memories of my college long-hair days, though not quite as long. Though with my age-induced extra forehead, it didn't look as good. |I've more or less gotten back on schedule, but it's about time for another one.

When I was 16 I let my hair go without a cut for 4 years (essential for the thrash metal look) ffwd 30 years and after 5 months without a cut, I’m thinking of doing it again! Probably won’t wear a Metallica tour T shirt this time around though!

I already had a pretty decent medium length mane to begin with but now it’s longer. More or less like George Harrison’s in 1969.

I got a haircut in February 2020. It's getting long-ish.

My wife has been cutting mine with scissors and doing a good job. I've had lots of 'professional' cuts a lot worse.
No need for holiday or football conversations lol

I haven't used shampoo for about 4 years - no need to if you don't add gloop to its

The hair on my head left me a long time ago but I have been having trouble shaving my face as regularly as I used to. Haven grown a number of beards.

I have had One Haircut in the past Year, I like my hair to be kind long 'business' a bit of a floppy thing... currently it is down to my shoulders, my fringe touches my chin, it is pretty much 'Full BeeGee circa 1979' Haha !!!

it's been 14 months since mine was cut ... as long as masks are required, there will be no future haircuts in this lifetime .. we shall se what the future holds

Haven't had a haircut since Feb 2020. Down to my chin in the front now. Also grew a beard but have trimmed that a few times. Went from Anderson Cooper short to Captain Highliner to Uncle Jesse to Dusty Hill. Now more like a Civil War General.
