this was built in the fender r&d model shop by fender's senior design engineer, along with 3 others with similar specs for one of the first three artists signed to fender for sig guitars.

very cool. I once had the blue with gold leaf masterbuilt pentalin. Basically a fender electric mandolin masterbuilt with 5 strings and 31 frets and a crazy flamed maple fat neck. I will see if I can find pics of it. It was on pentasystems website years ago
