• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

“ both pickup sets were rendered completely useless in any other guitar. “ keep grasping 😂
As they sit and in their current state the pickups would not be usable in any other guitar.

They would require splicing in a huge length of lead or having someone replace the tiny bit of lead left with new, full length leads, before they could be used in any other guitar.

As I stated, I wasn't looking to purchase a 'project.'

Why don't you go troll some other thread or go hang out down by the elementary school?

Reverb update:
Still waiting to hear a response from the Reverb rep since my information input from Friday last week.
Reverb sent me an email Wednesday and said they would be in touch with me by the end of the next day (yesterday) but I didn't hear from them.
Maybe Reverb will contact me today?

Deviser news:
I have been working directly with Deviser to procure a 'Beano' pickup set with the extended leads specific to a MES1.
Deviser was willing to work with me and they even had to have their vendor wind a brand new Beano pickup set because Deviser had no MES1 Beano sets in stock.
I received an email from Deviser this morning and the customer ordered Beano pickup set is now ready.
Information relayed from Deviser's pickup winder is the Beano pickups are 'none' wax potted.
Payment has been sent. (y)

Previous info that I am aware of concerning Beano specs:
Magnet: ALNICO 2
Bridge pickup: #43 wire @ 5,300 turns
Neck pickup: #42 wire @ 4,800 turns

We were talking
About the space between us all
And the people
Who hide themselves behind a wall of illusion
Never glimpse the truth, then it's far too late
When they pass away

We were talking
About the love we all could share
When we find it
To try our best to hold it there
With our love, with our love
We could save the world
If they only knew

Try to realize it's all within yourself
No one else can make you change
And to see you're really only very small
And life flows on within you and without you

We were talking
About the love that's gone so cold and the people
Who gain the world and lose their soul
They don't know
They can't see, are you one of them?

When you've seen beyond yourself
Then you may find peace of mind is waiting there
And the time will come when you see we're all one
And life flows on within you and without you

The brand new/customer ordered Beano pickup set, ordered by Deviser from their pickup vendor, will be shipped to me tomorrow.

It's a bit crazy to think that Deviser, in Japan, can obtain a brand new pickup set from their pickup vendor/winder quicker than Reverb, in the US, can resolve such a terrible Reverb transaction.

Speaks volumes as to how terrible and useless Reverb support has become to buyers that experience sellers perpetrating dishonest and fraudulent listings on the Reverb platform.

Still waiting on the Reverb rep to contact me; the same Reverb rep that said I would here from them last Thursday.
