Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
I know that Hetfield grew to hate Henry, with their past dealings, so nothing ever happened after the Iron Cross debacle. Hetfield would not work with Henry after that.
Now that Henry is out do you think Gibson will wise up and give one of the best Gibson heavy/hard rock rhythm players of all...
The "Rusty" Explorer would be PERFECT IMO. After 30+ years with Gibson guitars isn't it about time? Yes, he plays and endorsees ESP guitars also but regardless he has continued to play Gibsons in the studio and live. I think it's time before it's to late Gibson. Time to contact James and get...
I know most here probably aren't into heavier music or Metallica but for someone that has played Gibsons his entire career, despite being a ESP endorser, if there's anyone Gibson needs to work with it's James Hetfield IMO. He owns so many Gibsons including several Original Bursts it's head...
Rainbow guitars has one in stock right now. Dark Burst with a very nice top IMO. Just a heads up for those that might be wanting one but can't find one at the moment.

The low production on the "True" Historic Reissues then the "50's Style" models being short tenons but priced like the 2014 long tenon Historic Reissues.
Seems more of the VOS models have the greening and the aged do not. Wonder if the finish formula varied or changed during the different runs of the model or if Gibson purposely did this?
Haven't seen many post their VOS Skinner Bursts so here's a quick picture of mine. Had it for a week or 2 now. Great guitar.
This run seems to be a great one from the VOS, aged and aged/signed.
Looking for some nicely aged gold top hat knobs. Just think they would go with the look of one of my Les Pauls better than the new look.
What's your favorite reputable place to buy from in the USA?
Just bought a new Gibson Historic that arrived with a "very small" finish ding in the top. It's a fairly expensive limited model. Can't be replaced if I send it back since there are no more left, only a refund.
I absolutely love the way it feels and plays. The ding also doesn't really bother...
One of your favorites? Will more than likely buy a CC in the next month or 2. It will be the only one of the CC's I buy. Right now it's between #8 "The Beast", #7 "Shanks" and #16 "Redeye".
One reason I'm wondering more about #8 The Beast is because I'm more of a harder rock/metal guy and...
