Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
wow, having read the suit, to say I'm shocked is an understatement, I like Ron's work (ihave some of his pickups) and he makes beautifull guitars but this is next level creepy.
in hinesight it does explain his sudden leave from Fender.

I wonder why they opened it in the UK? it could destroy the business of local gibson deales in a relatively small market, and due to brexit anyone coming in from mainland Europe (their biggest market in that part of the world) will need to pay import duties and vat when they bring their...
Looks good, nibs, wings headstock, small maple sliver in the cacity, correct inlays for a production standard, maple top visible above neck humbucker (short tenon, correct for a production standard)
Whats funny about this model is that they all had a huge gap in the neckpocket which would make a 70ties strat proud (look at the first picture, on the bass side near the toggle switch)
What happens to me litterally every time i install solderless emg's is that i plug the cable "upside" down into the pickup (so red to white, white to red instead of the other way around. ) that will result in absolute silence. So please check they are plugged in correctly.
only way to do this safely is to add a matt clearcoat , if you would try to dull your headstock you will art least partically remove the les paul screensilk (which is on top of the lacquer)
yes we would, he wrote Here I go again by whitesnake amongst others (6 million radio plays alone in the US) and is at least in Europe quite famous for having played in Whitesnake
