I was CC shopping and noticed that most of the Carmelita & MN Burst CCs appear to have a large gap between the fretboard and neck pickup ring (see below). I don't recall noticing this on very many TH spec guitars to date. Just curious if there is a good explanation for this occurrence on these...
Should I avoid buying a brand new Collector's Choice guitar with sloppy fingerboard work? Specifically, glue and numerous file marks on the fingerboard. Love the guitar in all other ways though.
The guitar would not be bought as a collector's item, but rather as a player. Maybe I should ask...

What's the consensus on Gibson Montana pricing. I really like Gibson's acoustic line but I have never felt they were worth the asking. I'm just curios if anybody else is in agreement with this?
