• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE HAVE MOVED THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER! Let us know how it is going! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin
  • Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!

Guitar Player and Enthusiast. Hugely influenced by the First wave of British Blues players (like most here on the Forum), Clapton, Beck, Page, Green and Americans (Bloomfield and Hendrix among others). My love of Jimmy Page's playing drove me to desire a Les Paul. Age has driven my desire to learn as much as I can about 1950s and early 60's Gibsons.
Location
Washington DC area
Current Gear
1964 ES 335, 1959 Les Paul Conversion by Jams Weyandt, 2009 R9 with early Pat # pickups, Masterbuilt Clapton Strat, PRS Pauls guitar among the many others.
Previous Gear
Sadly sold off my collection of 1950s and 1960s Fenders and Gibsons I acquired in the Pawn Shops and Recycler ads in the early 1980s early in my married life and as I get older I want to learn more and communicate with other players with similar interest.
Musical Influences
Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, David Gilmour, Brian May, Joe Perry, Jimi Hendrix, Michael Bloomfield among the many talented players
