THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING!
We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!
This originally fitted with a single humbucker but has been converted to a dog ear P90. It currently has a Peter Florence VooDoo P90. The color is actually Pearl White but as you can see it has yellowed nicely in the last 30 years. Fret wear is very very minimal. It has a few bumps in bruises on...

I usually don’t have a ton of specific info from sessions but a long time ago I was told this exact track was a Harry Kolby modded JTM45. I only know this cause I was looking into getting a harry kolby mod and it was mentioned.
A black flag circuit is a super bass with low filtering and it will have a fenderish Marshall growl. It is a different amp than a high filtered superlead circuit. Secondly maybe the second amp is a different amp altogether provided us with an altogether unique sound.

Also depends on how faithful your FF is to the original design. The original nkt275 ones had a gain of about 60 HFE for both transistors. These would be the equivalent to a low gain Sunface. They really only give that classic dirt therefore when combined with distortion from elsewhere, most...
Hey all
Those of you fortunate to have bursts and don’t top wrap can you post a shot of your current setup break angle over the bridge to the tailpiece?
And downward pressure on the bridge from a steeper neck angle can be offset by raising the tailpiece thus mimicking the downward pressure of a guitar with a shallower neck angle
