Anyone care to recomend a good compression pedal? I wass thinking maybe the MXR Super Comp but it seems to have mixed reviews.

Any recomends for a good reverb pedal? I was thinking about a Boss RV-5 but not so sure now after reading some bad reviews of it.

When I'm using my JCM 800 I can't seem to get the thing to go louder when I use an overdrive pedal as a boost. It just gets more overdriven but not louder. Other than employing a tech to stand there and turn it up and down through out each song what options do you recomend?????????

Is there a difference between your favourite guitar and the one that gets played the most? My number one is my Green Custom and always will be but for the band I'm in at the moment I tend to use the Classic, Cherry Standard and 335 more often. Does this mean my number one is no longer number...

I play in two bands. In one band I use a Marshall 100w SLP and is miced up and used in larger venues and so isn't a problem at all. The other band however usually plays in much smaller venues where I have to use the powerbreaker and it loses some of it's tone. I also sometimes use a JCM 800 2203...

I recently bought an '89 Cherry 335 Dot and tonight was my first gig with it. I love the feeling of using a new axe for the first time live. I'm really really happy with it. It was very ballsy and responsive, loud enough to rock, subtle enough to use as a strummer when i rolled the volume down...

I'm a little confused. I was talking to a guy in the local guitar store and I asked him if I could try an R8 which they'd just got in. He said it wasn't an R8 but it was a '58 re-issue. It was a VOS and that they are different to R8's. Am I being stupid or him???? I always thought an LPR-8...

I'm getting serious GAS at the minute for a sunburst custom. Cherry, cream/nickel parts, like a standard but with the custom fretboard, headstock and binding. Anyone got any pics to help me out????
