THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!
Good show. Josh Smith was awesome, too. I love his playing.
It was cool to see a few younger folks there. The average age seemed to be 50s but there quite a few younguns showed up.
Wow ... it is Josh Smith, playing what I guess is his Sig Ibanez. Just looked up a show from this tour and learned it is Josh. Now I'm super stoked to hear him cut loose.
Well ... to watch him cut loose. I'm sure he's great. :(
He looks excellent. Wish I could actually hear him. Instead, I'm in the nosebleeds at DPRC and all I get is a dull but very loud rumble. I'm sure he's great, though. :(
You and me both. My wife is into the concert thing though and she loves three guitar players ... Derek Trucks, Susan Tedeschi, and Joe Bonamassa. Now we will have seen them all.
She also loves that Mongolian metal act. They are kinda catchy. Where else can you hear Tuvian throat singing...

Looking forward to the show, regardless. And glad I saved $150. Lol.

How do the resellers 'create value' for the artists? Serious question. I can imagine a contract could be written so that the artist gets a piece of the "service fees". Izzat a normal thing nowadays?
The landscape has changed so much since Napster. I feel for young bands coming up nowadays...
So I'm buying tickets to see JB in Durham NC and after putting all my info in and getting ready to click BUY I see that my total is roughly 35% higher than the purchase price and tax. I check the details and find this company charges a mega service charge. So I go shopping and find a company...
Three things ...
1. She has gotta be one of the coolest ladies on the planet. Just lovely. And obviously mega talented. Talk about 'multi tasking'!
2. The guy should be edited out. Wonder if he still "believes" those are "P90 humbuckers"? I mean ... wow.
3. Those old "P90 humbuckers" are mega...
