1970 Pots - Interchangeable

Hi.....

Being that Gibson (and possible many other manufacturers) would have purchased pots in bulk, is it fair to assume that pots were used across their range of guitars rather than specific models? What I am trying to understand is whether a 1970 Pot could be used in an SG, Deluxe, Junior etc - and would they all have the same Ohm marking, same resisters etc? thanks

They're the same.
Every one I've seen has been, anyway.
But I cant speak for the oddballs...Recording, Signature, Marauder, Sonex....
