i got mine when it happened. best lesson? tommy crain w/ cdb. 3 fingers per string lines.

then again? that was 46 years ago. southern rock has been neutered into country music. thanks, travis tritt. i preferred it when it was don williams, george jones, etc.

Sans a time machine, younger players cannot get theirs "when it happened".

Hence, people like Brett Papa, etc. show what can no longer be learned by "being there".

I remember when I first started out with guitar, I was totally lost on where to find good lessons. Ended up stumbling across some online music lessons that were actually super helpful. There’s a lot of free stuff out there, and honestly, it’s been a game-changer for me. They’ve got lessons for beginners, but also some advanced stuff if you’re looking to step up your game.
