Hi.

Anyone owned or played a Custom Shop 68 Standard Goldtop Reissue?

I have my eye on this model. But, I'm looking at an online purchase partly due to price and partly due to available stock in the UK.

It's the most expensive guitar I'll have ever purchased and naturally I'd prefer to see it and play it before taking the plunge.

Thoughts and feedback welcome.

There's one available at 9.2 lbs, new and hopefully mint condition.

I cannot speak for the reissues, but the original 68 a friend had bloomed from a toothpick at the nut to a tree trunk at the 12th fret.
