• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Eight pounds is a perfect weight for a guitar. It is medium weight for a guitar, so as a girl I can say that it is perfect if you are a musician like me. I can play for hours on the guitar, so I would get tired of keeping it on my knees with a heavier guitar. When I found out how important the guitar's weight was, I used my weight scale from vont.com to determine the weight of the guitar I was using. I found out that it was a little too heavy for a guitar, so I recently bought another one, and I can feel the difference.

92170 is the best top, but at 8 lbs probably too bright, so reverse chevron 92216 would be the fallback
