I just scored this used LP 60s standard faded. I thought this Axe was quite handsome for the money. I find the neck is really wet carved for a 60s , I tend to prefer the more chunky 50s but like I said this neck feels really nice . The nitro appears to be really thin, which I really dig, and it feels really good on the neck. I am also digging the Grover tuners which is odd in that I have always been a green key fan. This guitar came with no pick guard which I didn't really realize was a thing with the newer Gibson. The Axe only weighs 9.0 lbs which was surprising. It has Burst bucker pickups I think I have not taken the pickups out to inspect but this is a really nice guitar and I thought that for the money used it was a good buy. Just wanted to share my good fortune , as they say good things come to those who wait. Reckon Brothers
