Serial Question 60th anniversary RO

Hello all,

First post in a very long time.. I just pick a RO from a from a late friends widow. Its good to have one of his guitars in my collection. He was a good man.
Anyway on to the question.. is a 60th anniversary V2. Gorgeous guitar. the serial number is 0 1019. This makes me think that it's a 21 model.
That said, the warranty card in the case has a inspection date of June 2020. Its been a while but for me this doesn't add up. What am i missing?

First off that's a smoking hot figured Les Paul that is HOT ! The first # 0 indicates the model , the second # indicates year of build .

Right. I know and agree. the thing is though that the inspection card in the case has a date of June 2020. but the serial starts 0 1019 doesn't make sense to me.

This is just a guess . The 2019 R9 anniversary reissues also carried over to 2020 ,until the entire series was sold . This could be the same reason as well ? Another guess might be that there was stock intended for overseas orders that maybe were cancelled ?

It's rather late in the year for such errors but maybe the guy just wrote 2020 instead of 2021.

It does.. I think.. I'll post a pic of it tomorrow if i remember .. It is a bit late in the year for that, but you never know.

The serial number and the inspection sheet to me just doesn't jive .
That said the guitar is fantastic and couldn't be happier with it.

they were still making 60th Anniv R0's into 2021, so yes you could have a 60th with a 2021 build/serial #
