As far as I can tell, the SN is indicating an '02.
There's a lot of differences in the construction between '76 and '02.
If you could post or link a couple pics of the guitar we should be able to tell for sure.
Value would depend on exactly what you have.

02, no question.
'76 wouldn;t (usually) have as figured a top, it would be a multi-piece (layers) back, probably a maple neck, larger headstock, and a few other tells.

The biggest tell is that on '76 LP the s/n is not stamped into the wood. It's a decal.
