• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • WE HAVE MOVED THE LES PAUL FORUM TO A NEW HOSTING PROVIDER! Let us know how it is going! Many thanks, Mike Slubowski, Admin
  • Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!

  • Hello, Walt here.
In reference to your post on aniline dye. Do you have any pics of before and after fading ? Is it very obvious or subtle ?
I know Gibson is using a man made, synthetic ingredient they are calling aniline, but I did not think it would fade.
    Prof --

I have an original nickel lightning bolt tailpiece for your Epiphone if you're interested.

It is not the thing for my MelodyMaker because it wants to be "straight across" and my MM has slanted studs.

Please let me know. Email is better than here because I don't always check in here.

    THANKS, BEST, Sam@SamSherry.com
