THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING!
We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!
Love them.
A friend left a ‘90’s Lake Placid Strat at my house. Well over a year ago.
I have texted him multiple times that he needs to come get it. He has not.
Isn’t there some rule like salvage, or abandonment, or foster care???
Love that metallic blue. My friend, about 1979 - 80, bought a ‘62 Lake Placid Tele with a Bigsby for $600 from a small shop in Bridgeport Connecticut. I thought it was way too much money, but when I played it, that thing screamed on the bridge pickup. Rosewood Neck was perfect.
My favorite Fender color is Shoreline Gold. I refinished my ‘76 black Strat in that color years ago after the poly went sticky.
I’m sure you must have some examples, Mike.
Aztec gold and the other golds are nice, but I’ve never seen examples.
