I guess they felt they had to offset the upcost of that little leatherette book VS the laserjet printed certificate

How True! And that was the first thing I needed when my Warren Haynes ES 335 arrived. I had to adjust the truss rod.

My '13 LP Std had a truss rod tool and my '11 PT SG had both a truss rod tool and an allen key for bridge. :hmm

Maybe Gibson figures the CS product is only for collectors that won't play them and therefore the guitar doesn't need to be adjusted. :laugh2: :rofl :laugh2:

Yup... I have a few of those unopened packets. I think they're in the same drawer with all those PAF clones from various winders, pots, caps and other miscellaneous crap...

I hear ya... I've got a bunch of 'em, but I was surprised to see that the WH didn't have one...

That's cool but that's the Bozeman Acoustic division, Nashville doesn't do anything. They even got rid of the little baggie that the switchtip use to come in. Now the switchtip is just thrown in the case compartment.

Who wants to bet whether they have the cases' storage compartment deleted,
or have less latches/HINGES put on it, as their next cost-cutter? :wah

I noticed that my Warren Haynes 335 didn't come with a truss rod wrench, but my '14 USA Firebird V did. Maybe you're on to something here.

same for me here

my 2010 r9 had very little, no truss rod wrench, no cloth, just paper tags that are useless

but a very nice booklet COA

for comparison, my 2004 fender strat 60 relic has guitars picks, nice leather strap, cord, etc etc

the fender tweed case is also a beauty

I would appreciate it if someone would post some really striat angled photos of the case candy so that they can be scanned and printed. I miss some things, especially the bumble bee tag. Less important for me personally, but when selling, a complete package including all tags is easier to sell.
Is that possible please?
