• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

So I hope this is not a mistake- I don't think it is. We don't have a ton of room in the new house, and I have always liked the thought of owning one of these. I need to sell one to keep one- I detest being owned by possessions- and feeling like I have to play something because it is sitting there. So I have to sell my 2061 reissue set to make room (such as it is) for this guy.
If you see a ton of silver in this pic- it is sitting there-for sale. let me know and i will hook you up. Two mint half stacks.

So this is my first amp with an effects loop- new terrain. I juggled my pedal board and ran the reverb, chorus, leslie sim & delay thru it. More than a slight impact.
This amp sounds much bigger than a 1 x 12- and I haven't even had the guts to flip the switch up to full power.

More amp time- house to myself- the cat has developed a tic in her left eye and is spending a lot of time under the sofa...
The clean channel (yes Winifred- it has a very plausible clean channel) is wonderful- I have been jamming on Stray Cats with our drummer- and this is funny- I have been playing a slap echo on there- then hitting it with some deeper reverb and going from 5 to 8-9 on my 2 PUP P90 for solos.
Scheissdreck Mensch!
Don't get me wrong- the OD channel is plain outstanding- but that is just so easy/obvious. Doing the Fenton Robinson version of Texas Flood (are they all the FR version- IDK??)- even with four thumbs it sounded great. Have to give credit to the JHS reverb pedal- THAT is the best $100 I ever spent.
Completely reorganizing my pedal board to accommodate the effects loop- as most of my OD is now obsolete- but needed when I take out the old Browns.
Thinking about building a smaller pedal board for the ambient stuff and another for the dirt... It's just money.

I had a very strong instinct that this would be your experience with this great amp.

I'm as pleased as punch for you.

Loud buggers aren't they....

BTW- a member here bought the 100W from my buddy.
He still has the 50W half-stack and a 25/50 2 x 10- email me if you are interested.

I really cannot imagine a 100W in a small enclosed place.
