50's Wiring Not Working For Me

I have 50's wiring in a R9. When I roll down the volume it gets darker. I'd like to keep the highs intact when I roll down my guitar volume. I have a PRS DGT that stays clear and even when I turn down

Am I missing or doing something wrong?
