Hey, what's a good analog delay to get these days? Old Ibanez? Other brands? They all the same?

Thanks

Tape Based - I would still go with an old echoplex, or "the plex"

SIB Echo Drives are very nice too.

Old Ibanez, old Boss, those rack mount Chandler units were cool, even though they are digital.

...or save a bunch of money and get an Arion Stereo Delay (analog) used. I have one that's about 10 years old, and I still love it.

I heard the Boss Dm 3 was a good one. I have an Ampeg AD-8. Very subtle but sucks tone in the chain.

dm-2 here. its great, but I'll admit to using my line 6 more.

the Arions are supposedly really great and dirt cheap.

Boss DM2 here too. Has a great rockabilly slap-back tone. I used the Chandler Echo for years until it was stolen. Although digital, it had the best analog/tape tone of anything I've ever played. I used it with two amps in stereo and it sounded wonderful. It was the only effect I've ever used that I left on all the time. I would love to find one again.
