Just curious, has anybody tried one of these in a Lester yet? I have searched the web high and low and can't find much info.

A patent sticker late 60s pickup can be had on Ebay for the cost of a new Gibson bucker.
Thats the Angus signature pickup ;)

From the Gibson website (the only place I can find ANY info), it appears that they kinda customized this pickup for him. 4 conductor wiring, double wax potting, etc. I assume those 60s pickups don't have those features, right?

angus rewires his pups from resies to parallel. that's how he gets that stinging wirey sound.

or you could get a Rio Grande BBQ bucker. heard he's been using these too.
