Back in the 80's I had a shell pink Pre-CBS Jaguar.
Everyone thought it was a really cool and rare custom color.

A few years later I had a shell pink Pre-CBS Strat.
Everyone thought it was faded Fiesta Red. :wah

Coolest custom color Fender I've ever seen was at a Dallas show years ago- a shell pink jazzmaster with matching headstock , chocolate brazilian and gold parts. The color had faded and was somewhere between shell pink and desert tan. Breathtaking!

Here's my 2013 shell pink strat. I saw it in Guitar Center and came home with it. I love the Fat 50's pickups they're putting in Strats now.
