added more picsCongrats - looks fabulous - more pictures please.
Yeah, I can see the finish flaws. It looks like the maple top became all curly and striped during shipping. You really should take advantage of the warranty and send it back so Gibson can have that maple straightened out.I finally took the plunge and bought my first 2021 Gibson LP 59 std from Long &Mcquade, definitely great guitars, it does have a couple flaws in the finish but it doesn’t deter the sound whatsoever..

Actually bought it at the Brampton location, there was also some nice 59s at The Burlington location!Beautiful top on that R9. Looks like the one I had my eye on when I bought my R8. That was at the Mississauga location in Ontario.
I actually got a great price, it was a demo model, it had a couple nicks and small dents..nothing major. That is beautiful! Scared to ask how much McQuade was selling it for...I saw one in the Calgary store and it was priced at $9,099 CAD for VOS.
this one sounds awesome, clear and loud unplugged …it’s a keeperWhoa! That thing is a masterpiece. Does it sound as good as it looks?
