Mark, how has the tone and playbility changed from it's R9 factory specs to it's current setup?

I love how the Mahogany is real dark where the finish has "worn" away....some of the oldies almost look black in those areas. I wonder how this was achieved? :hmm

I really like the aging on the inlays.

The outer perimeter of the inlays looks very realistic and right to me.

That sounds interesting. Can you tell us something more about those PUs? What did Jon do to them and are they based on one of his current models?

Steve, Those are the original style nickel Dunlop straplocks. I'm surprised that Gibson didn't use them on at least the aged PG's.

They sell them at Guitar Center...at least the one near me. I couldn't get the Schallers to fit with the Bigsby, so I put a set of these on my GO. They're on all of my vintage BC Rich's.
