Just joined forum for my 2012 Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul and saw this forum thought I'd through my two cents in. I purchased this 2019 Jimmy Page Signiture 59' replica American Telecaster with C shaped neck, used from GC this Christmas $1800.00.
I never had or played a Fender before. Always had Epiphone Les Pauls.
My wife and adult kid asked me what I wanted for Christmas. I said I'd like American Fender. I received underware or something I don't remember for sure. I thought OK I see how this is going. Oh Dad shales out a couple grand for my wife and everybody and their boyfriends and I get underware and clothes. I thought bullsh^%$"
Oh my God what a lovely axe to play I put a set of Ernie Ball Colbolt strings #8. Set the pickups, intonation. Shielded all cavities, grounded bridge. Very happy,
