I'm dealing with a pair of 1981 Goto LS Dynamic Version One Humbuckers.
These were in a Cortez but were also in Tokai guitars.
They have double cream coils and 12 hex poles like Super Distortions.

One is red and white plus shield.
The other is red, white and green plus shield.
Having trouble figuring out the three conductor.
I'd rather not peel the tape off the coils if I can help it.
Anyone know what the color code for these is?
All the codes I found for Goto (Gotoh) are for more recent 4 conductor models.
Thanks!

I don't know for sure but my best guess would be that red is hot, white is ground (or vice versa for wiring out of phase) and on the one with 3 wires green may be a centre tap between the coils. If you have a multimeter you could measure the DC resistance between the wires to confirm.

Just a follow up: I got them both figured out. They were not the same at all.
On the two plus shield unit, red was hot and shield was ground, white was parallel.
On the three plus shield unit, red was hot, shield AND white both had to be ground, and green was parallel.
They sound OK , nothing special.
