• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I have to say that if you use only a ES 336 on that recording, it´s a very versatile guitar. It sounds lika an acoustic, an ES 335 and a Les Paul on the recording. Interesting. Perhaps I have to me one of those too.

I've heard bits of Phil Keaggy. I like what i've heard a lot.

The first time I heard of him was when I saw a transcription of "Sounds" in the 1986 Guitar Player magazine with Eric Johnson on the cover.

Sounds really good. Was going to buy another LP, but may look into a 336. Very good guitar playing also.

I almost bought one from Saul at CC Music a few weeks ago. Nice Custom shop CS-336 plaintop. Truely is a versatile guitar, sounded beautiful acoustically and through a Marshall. But it was a little out of my budget range.

I just bought a used CS-336 today. Wine Red Flametop from Marks. (59 profile neck).

Really loud acoustically. Seems like it is going to cover alot of bases.
