Not a 2007, but I paid €2,490 for my 2011 R8, new, at an independent retailer (i.e. not a large chain).​

I had a 2010 R-8. I sent it to Historic Makeovers for the total re-do( Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, Hide glue neck reset, fingerboard, Celluloid Nitrate inlays, top and neck recarve, correct logo, etc and old formula Nitro refinish, nylon nut.

BTW, how do you like the sound of a chambered Les Paul?

I like it a lot. Perhaps it is a bit more open and airy in the mids. I like the 7.8 lbs a lot too.
