• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Added this 2000 American Series Stratocaster last weekend.

Here is how it looks now after the conversion from a HSS to a SSS and with Fender 57/62 pickups.

^ wonder how a mint colored ‘64-ish guard would look ^
Probably pretty good, at least by the few photos that I’ve seen online with this color guitar. I’ve got a loaded parchment and also a white pick-guard on order and I may have a mint pick-guard in my parts stash. I’ll decide which color I like best.

Fender Roadworn Strat MIM.
Actually the guitar wasn't for sale.
It was meant to go from dealer to dealer as a demonstration object when this model came out.
But finally I managed to buy it. Played great out of the box.

In the back left to right:
Original 1992 Zemaitis Metalfront built by Tony Zemaitis to my specs
Gibson CS R4, non chambered super light weight, Brazilian FB
CS CR7
CS R9

Here is another favorite of my Strats, it is a 2019 Custom Shop Journeyman Relic Aztec Gold '61 body with Fender anodized guard. Dipped in 24k gold Anniversary spec LACE sensors. 1961 stackpole tone pot and cap. And the neck is custom made by a private luthier, it is an exact clone of my real 1962 Slab strat.
