Would it kill ya to tag the person in the photo?
Marv Tarplin
Is this Neal Schon? Only player in this thread so far I don't immediately recognize.
How can we not add this fine Custom player? Unless I missed it somewhere?

From what I have observed from videos, photographs, and live concerts, just about all of the popular Classic Rock guitar greats from the late 1960s and 1970s played vintage Les Paul Customs and Standards, and in many cases also they also played Norlin-era Customs and Standards. If they liked the sound of a good old Les Paul with humbucking pickups, they tended to play both models at some time in their careers.
So far the posters in this thread have identified a broad range of Les Paul Custom players. From the Classic Rock era I can add a few more to the list:
1. Mick Jones, Foreigner
2. Steve Mariott, Humble Pie
3. Billy Jones, The Outlaws
4. Tony Hicks & Grahm Nash, The Hollies
5. Steve Perry, Aerosmith
