Gibson Exclusive DC Junior issues

Greetings! I am contemplating getting one of the new Gibson Exclusive Les Paul Junior Double Cuts. Supposedly, there are issues with the stop bar/bridge placement. Suppo, there are issues with the string placement; not being directly over the pole pieces. Supposedly, Gibson includes a lightning bar bridge with the guitar and THEY say that the lightning bridge fixes the issue. I want to hear from those who have experience with this specific guitar. I want to know if there ARE issues. I want to know how you solved the problems. MojoAxe, Music City, stock lightning or other? What I DON’T want to hear is Eastman, Maibach, Tokai, Burny, Orville, R&R Relic Thunder, ETC. I don’t want opinions about those brands. I’m only interested in hearing from owners who have the Exclusive DC Junior and your experiences. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

JB, I did watch this previously. While Trogly is pretty reliable, I’m still looking for people who have them and see what their impressions are concerning the issues.

Yeah, that's what I figured. I am watching this and hope to hear more as well, although only out of interest for what Gibson is up to.

I wish Mat would answer some of these more everyday consumer-interest topics, but I certainly understand where he prioritizes his precious time...

Perhaps beyond Customer Service representatives, and Social Media / Marketing (Dinesh, some Mark) they need an interactive a small interactive Knowledge Agent team, at least some Go-Tos for Dealer Reps to reach out to with Q&A.

Of course, they may be 'minimizing' this given the Lightning Bolt replacement is including in the purchase.

Good luck on the hunt for reputable feedback!

JB, I’ve got this posted several places. Some people are saying they have one and they have no issues. Others have sent them back. Tomorrow I’m going to call Gibson, see if I can get some legit info.

It's obviously been a bit since you posted this, but since no one else has answered here...I got mine recently, and have no issues. Intonation is solid, and the string placement is good - plays great, sounds great, and if the honeymoon continues it'll be my number 1.

Aahzz,
Since I posted the original post there have been two developments. I had a chance to reacquire my 2022 CS 58 Junior DC and just last week I picked up a 2024 CS 1960 Les Paul Special DC . The USA price was obviously better but I had the chance to get my old one and a new one so I’m good to go. Good luck with yours!
