I want one of those! Great sounds. I hope you washed your hands after touching that "other one" in the background. Don't want any cross contamination goin' on here! Cat's and dog's, Fenders and Gibsons....Just send me one of them so you don't accidentally start any Gender or Fibson virii ♋︎☿☤⚗⚚☯ stuff.

Mike, thanks for taking the time to post these videos, as it gives us a chance to hear what the prime examples of these vintage axes sound like!!!

I have a historic reissue SG Special and it is one of the best guitars I've every owned. It's strung with .011s for meaty slide tone:dude: I would love to compare it to a vintage model like this to compare neck carves, weight, P90's etc. I really don't play mine that clean like Greg does here, but now I'm going to have to try it. Although I don't think it's been in standard tuning since I've owned it:)

Dan, cool slide playing! Hard to really discern the tone because of the heavy reverb, but you were rockin'! :dude:

Love it! Beautiful SG Special Mike, it sounds great! These guitars really are under rated. I LOVE my 64 Special..... the P90's rip and it really does give my Standards a good run for their money.

Here's a pic of mine.

Beautiful sounding guitar. Great playing too. Thanks for sharing.

Kinda making me sad that I just sold my '64 special. :(

That door...notice every time Mike comes out of there, he is carrying another guitar? Me thinks it is the secret entrance to the bat cave...or maybe an underground tunnel to Wildwood. :hee

But that is just crazy! It may simply be just a room with dozen of elves that look like Mike Hickey shining and re-stringing all of Mike's guitars.
