Frank,

Remember that Lemonburst R9 I bought from Mark awhile back that you were thinking about pulling the trigger on? Well...I'd gladly trade it for your burst. Of course, it's got all new plastic and pickups so you'll have to come up with a bit of cash as well. :rofl :rofl :rofl

Seriously though, beautiful looking guitar. Congrats. :salude

Congrats Frank, that is a beauty - a lot of action going on in that wood for a Plaintop. To actually own a real 1959 Les Paul has to be a dream come true. What days will you be at the Philly show? Would love to see this Burst in person and also get to meet you in person too.

Congrats Frank! This coming out party has been a long time in the making. I was lucky enough to see and handle this burst a while back. I still won't tell about you and a certain other forum member in the toilet, with the door shut, and the lights out... :)

Thanks once again for all the nice comments, guys!

In the next few days, I hope to take and post some more detailed photos. I had some work done on the guitar by Scott Lentz, and he did an absolutely amazing job, and I'd like to show you some of that as well. For example, one of the things he did was to fix some poorly plugged holes from the guitar's Grover days.

Stay tuned...

Thanks, Frank! I expect to be at the show both days...all day. It would be great to meet you in person as well!

Tom, it was great seeing you as well, and such a pleasure and thrill for me to get to hang out with you. You are a true gentleman, and a heck of a guy, to boot. And your collection never ceases to amaze me.

And yes, I'd love to bring the 'burst, but as you know, there's no way I'd want to fly with it. I've had one too many bad experiences flying with a guitar, and will never do it again...unless I absolutely have to.

Hah! I had forgotten all about that! But be fair in your description of what actually happened...it was the bathroom we were in, and not the toilet! :rofl
