• THIS IS THE 25th ANNIVERSARY YEAR FOR THE LES PAUL FORUM! PLEASE CELEBRATE WITH US AND SUPPORT US WITH A DONATION TO KEEP US GOING! We've made a large financial investment to convert the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and recently moved to a new hosting platform. We also have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
  • Please support our Les Paul Forum Sponsors with your business - Gary's Classic Guitars, Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Reverb.com, Throbak.com and True Vintage Guitar. From personal experience doing business with all of them, they are first class organizations. Thank you!

HAPPY CHRISTMAS LADS.

Happy Holiday season to all, no matter what you celebrate. I am grateful for the blessings I have this year. At 62 years old, I found a partner whom I think is the one (and she didn't blink when I bought my dream 335). I got the 335 with block inlays. My children both have great careers and are healthy. I'm much loved by the gf, my kids, my friends, and my siblings. I've been working full time as a journalist, and in my community, my writing has been received with acclaim. I won two state press association awards. My sister recovered from breast cancer.

Even though I've had health and money problems, I am grateful for every day I have on Earth. I learned a few years ago that the simplest things are what make life worthwhile. What a miracle to be able to see and smell flowers, to watch the fields fill with crops, to see the wonders of the cities, to see the humanitarian efforts of my fellow citizens, to make friends, and to have the chance to serve those who need me.

And I am grateful for the online communities I've been part of.
