• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Has anyone heard of "Vintage clone parts"?

All Parts. I tried typing in 'clone' at www.allparts.com, only about 5 items show up. Maybe the full assortment will be available soon.
Stuff appears to look pretty good, not cheap though.

You gotta type in www.allpartsjapan.com. They have everything. Some of the stuff is 'DMC'. I live in Okinawa and go to Japan frequently and have seen some of this stuff, it is awesome. NIce lookin' plastic, M69 rings, pickguards, jackplates, 2 types of toggle switch knobs, rounded and slightly flattened, Tailpieces (stop and adjustable), tuners with great lookin' knobs, correct lookin' plastic saddles for '60's ABR-1's. I bought a set of these last time I was there for my '67 Casino and they were perfect. They also have the best lookin' P90 covers I've seen. Also aged nickel covers. Some of the Fender type stuff is Callaham. It says so on the packaging in the store.I believe some of the tailpieces are Pigtails that have been repackaged. It doesn't say that on the packaging but they look perfect, just like Steve's stuff. They even have the slotted, as opposed to phillips, screws for the Lester pickguard angle bracket like on some of the older Lesters. Way cool!
