Has anyone owned or played an SG Elegant?

I've seen some pictures of a model called SG Elegant with some really nice quilt tops. Does anyone have any experiences with them? Do they have a maple top like a Les Paul? Any info appreciated.

I've never seen an SG elegant in person, but I always thought it would have a maple top like the SG supremes.

On the SG supremes the top is pretty thick. If I remember correctly its maybe a little less than half the thickness of the body. I'll have to look at my supreme when I get home from work.

I like the concept, but not the vivid colors that you typically see. A few years back they used to make a few in the traditional les paul tobacco sunburst finishes, and they looked extraordinary. If they made these again, or one in vintage sunbust, etc. I would buy one :jim
